31 Day Challenge to Me

I have PCOS so I see an endocrinologist about twice a year. Everything has been going smoothly and I even have had regular periods without the use of birth control for the last 18 months. Woo Hoo, me!

So it was that time of the year to go see Dr. S. I had blood work done and apparently my thyroid is high and Vitamin D levels are low. Vitamin D deficiency seems to be a big thing that doctors are looking at nowadays. I've been put on a prescription and need to be better about taking it. My thyroid was the bigger concern since British Boy and I are trying to conceive and babies need a healthy thyroid otherwise it can lead to development disabilities. The article here gives some good recommendation.

After learning that British Boy and I need to stop humping until we figure this thyroid thing out, I was really bummed and whimpered the whole way to the lab. Luckily, my friend Jillian, called right as I was leaving the lab and helped get me out of my funk. I am blessed to have good friends like her to help me get my head out of my ass---just tell me like it is in the big picture.

For the last two days I've been waiting to see if my thryoid really is upset or if it's just a bad blood test. Turns out - bad blood test. Life (especially humping) can resume as normal. British Boy is happy and so am I, but things need to change overall. Therefore, I'm throwing down the gauntlet on *status quo* in the life of Keetots!

31 day challenge to me!

This means NO ALCOHOL (wine, how I love thee) and Exercising 5 out of 7 days.

I can do it *really*. Any recommendations? Need all the encouragement I can get, especially with the alcohol. We have a wedding and a camping trip planned this month.

Cheers!
